Beautiful antique porcelain wash basin and pitcher set, likely produced by Zeh, Scherzer & Co. (Z.S. & Co.) Bavaria or a similar German maker between 1895 and 1915. The set is slipcast and decorated in the Dresden style with: Delicate pink rose sprays A pale mint-turquoise border with olive chain motifs Pink crosslets and garland swags Gilded accents on the scalloped rim and handle The base is marked in red enamel with the number 243½, which likely refers to the mold number and variant used internally by the factory. No printed logo, which is consistent with decorator ware made for domestic or export sale during this period. Excellent visual condition for its age, with fine crazing and expected wear on the base.
